PODCAST

Hi everyone again!

The next post is related to podcasts and how to bring them into our classrooms as another resource for CLIL subjects.

This time I have chosen the topic of herbivores, omnivores and carnivores, which is being taught in the second year of primary education.

The subject will be presented as if it were a Flipped Classroom, as the students will have a video and some questions to answer before starting with the scheduled sessions. Through this methodology we manage to respect the students' learning time and make the most of the learning time, making the students an active subject in the natural sciences class.

In the different sessions, they will work in interactive groups on the three main groups and will make a MINDMAP to organise the information on the subject and an outline to organise their dialogue in the podcast.

The latter will be done through their tablets with the voice recorder and uploaded to the IVOOX website. All voice files of the project will be stored there.

I have to emphasize that the role of the Language Assistant is very important as he/she will help the students with the pronunciation and grammar of the Podcast.
Below I attach the script of the project:

And this is the Podcast

Looking forward to hearing from you
