The next post is about Mind maps. 

Do you know what it is? 

Mind maps are a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, readings, drawings, or other concepts linked and arranged radically through a key word or a central idea. Mind maps are a very effective method for extracting and memorizing information.

In In our class we can use it so that we can begin to introduce the topic of the subject or project to our students because it is so visual and easy to organize the new terms and ideas.

There are many programs to make mindmaps to project them in class such as Mindmeister, Creately, SpiderScribe or goconqr. In my case I have chosen goconqr for the following reasons:

- It is free.

- You can download the final result as a .PNG image.

- You can project it anywhere with this link.

- Easy and simple.

- You can incorporate images. I have extracted mine from pixabay .

But on the other hand the main drawback is that the website forces you to make your content public to anyone in the community, if it is content that you only want to have you must subscribe to one of the premium plans offered by the website so you can do more things like privatise posts, be ad-free or have more storage space.

The chosen topic is Climate in Europe, a 6th grade topic. The following one I have made is this:


But at the end of the day, this resource will be used to show the students the topic and little else. That's why I don't see the fact that it is public as a disadvantage, as it can help other colleagues who want to work with the same subject. 

On the other hand, for the development of the subject we will use other techniques, as I will show you in the next post.

Hello Everyone!  What do you think about bringing proposals to the primary classroom, why not create a comic with them integrating CLIL and emotions ? In the following post I am going to show you which page I have used to create a simple comic. It is called storyboardthat . I have used it in free mode and it has let me put a maximum of 6 vignettes. It's quite an interesting tool as it allows you to place: - Characters (of different ages) ... ... and customize every part of their body like color, position and pose. - Places like school, gym, trsnport, village, city... - Text (speech bubbles) to introduce the dialogue - Add objects and pictures Features In my case, I started to create with Pixton, which had more realistic and attractive graphics for students, but it was completely paid and did not let you save the result. That's why I chose storyboardthat, because although it is limited, it allows you to create and use its tools. I would recommend this website for creating comics...

 Hello again to my Blogger, How was your week? Do you know that situations as me in the picture when you have to look for some information and you are not able so select the more safe information that you have looked for on Google. Yes, I have felt in that situation many times when I was programming my classes. So t oday I am sharing with all of you  what is called  content curation tool.  Our ICT teacher Francisco has recommended the following ones: - PINTEREST , SYMBALOO , PEARLTREES  and LIST.LY Finally I have opted for Pinterest.
