Hi there, back to the routine after Easter holidays?

As I told you in the last post, I bring you one more resource that will help us to continue teaching in our 6th grade class about the climates in Europe.

In this case I present the infographic. This resource will help us when explaining this topic to our students. The infographic contains the content in a visual and colourful way. With images that accompany the information in the text and help in its comprehension.

The websites where you can create them are Data Wrapper, iCharts, Infografz, Tableau, BeFunky, Genially, Vizualize, Visme, Infogram, Canva, Easel.ly and others.

And the one I have chosen is Canva. It is the one I have been using during my time as a student and now as a teacher and it is one of the most useful tools to create content.

This is my final result with this program: 



As you can see, it is possible to create wonders like this infographic. But you can also edit photos, create collages, labels, schedules, logos, projects, invoices and a huge amount of other materials.

Pros

  • Easy and simple.
  • Variety of free templates
  • Many types of fonts.
  • Wide options for add more elements (colour, size...) in your template.
  • Many sizes and options (A4/3, card size, labels,...).
  • You can insert images, videos and audio yours or from the net.
  • You can embed content from other websides.
  • And the best thing is that you can enlarge the elements to the size you want to print them, because when you adjust their size, the height and width measurements appear in cm.
Cons
  • If you are teacher, you will have all the premium templates, fonts, resize, etc for free. But if you don't you will be more restricted. But but my point of view it is not a cons because you can also create amazing content withi out premium access.

Hello Everyone!  What do you think about bringing proposals to the primary classroom, why not create a comic with them integrating CLIL and emotions ? In the following post I am going to show you which page I have used to create a simple comic. It is called storyboardthat . I have used it in free mode and it has let me put a maximum of 6 vignettes. It's quite an interesting tool as it allows you to place: - Characters (of different ages) ... ... and customize every part of their body like color, position and pose. - Places like school, gym, trsnport, village, city... - Text (speech bubbles) to introduce the dialogue - Add objects and pictures Features In my case, I started to create with Pixton, which had more realistic and attractive graphics for students, but it was completely paid and did not let you save the result. That's why I chose storyboardthat, because although it is limited, it allows you to create and use its tools. I would recommend this website for creating comics

 Hello again to my Blogger, How was your week? Do you know that situations as me in the picture when you have to look for some information and you are not able so select the more safe information that you have looked for on Google. Yes, I have felt in that situation many times when I was programming my classes. So t oday I am sharing with all of you  what is called  content curation tool.  Our ICT teacher Francisco has recommended the following ones: - PINTEREST , SYMBALOO , PEARLTREES  and LIST.LY Finally I have opted for Pinterest. This is a website where, since I started university, it has helped me to find ideas for my degree projects, discover new techniques and educational models and above all resources, lots of resources for my classroom. In this case I have created a board where I have been adding new ideas for my class, cool people in the world of music education and links to very useful melodies for the little ones in primary school, do you want to discover it?
